Jennifer has been a leader in the San Diego property management community for more than 25 years. She is a native of California, but claims San Diego is the best place to live in the State. When she’s not working with our team, she may be creating an awesome food experience in the kitchen, enjoying playtime with her grandchildren, or sitting down to enjoy a good book.
Jennifer started her real estate career in corporate relocation and mortgage banking. After moving to San Diego in the 1990’s, she saw a unique opportunity to develop a program for the management of privately owned single-family homes and condos that would deliver a positive experience for tenants and result in increased ROI to investor clients.
As an active volunteer in the property management community, Jennifer and has served two terms as the President of the local San Diego Chapter of NARPM (National Association of Residential Managers), as President of the State Chapter of CALNARPM, and on various committees at the national level. She is a member of the California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and San Diego Association of Realtors.
A Native Californian, Mike grew up in the Inland Empire and left home to serve in The US Navy where he served for 6 years with The Presidential Ceremonial Guard and The USS Carl Vinson. After leaving the Navy, he started managing multi-family sites in the Inland Empire, and eventually found his way out to San Diego managing single family homes, commercial properties, and multi-family units. Mike is passionate about finding the best home for our future tenants and ensuring our owners have the best tenant in their property. Mike has several degrees, but his favorite degree is his BA in Real Estate Studies from Ashford University in 2016. Mike has been a licensed real estate agent since 2015 and has helped his clients purchase and sell homes throughout San Diego and Inland Empire. Mike married his high school sweetheart and has two boys and a baby girl on the way.
Beth was born and raised in the Bay Area, moving to San Diego nearly 24 years ago. She is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton where she earned her degree in Business Administration. Beth’s varied background in office management, finance, marketing and customer service has prepared her well for the fast pace of residential property management. Her friendly personality and strong organizational skills are a perfect match in her role of coordinating the move-in and move-out process for our residents.
Beth has been married to her husband Mike for 33 years and has raised three amazing sons. Beth enjoys hiking, waterskiing, reading, scrapbooking, and travel.
A native Californian, Brad grew up in Paradise, CA and received his BA from the UC Santa Cruz and his MBA from University of Phoenix. When he’s not working as our Senior Property Manager, he enjoys time off by going to the gym, surfing, and playing golf. Brad first obtained his real estate license in 2001 and increased his licensee status by passing his Broker’s exam in 2014. His extensive background in construction management is invaluable in his role as advisor to our investor clients when recommending repairs and improvements to increase their ROI.
Valeri has been a member of the Walters Home Management team since 2007. As our Accounting Supervisor, Valeri oversees all accounting operations, insuring monthly rent receipts are accurately reported and that property owners receive timely and complete statements every month. She is a vital part of our success and a trusted resource for our clients. Valeri’s focused attention to detail ensures compliance in all aspects of financial reporting both at the State and Federal levels. A native Californian, Valeri was raised in Livermore and moved to San Diego in 1988 where she has raised her two sons. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
After 28 years of raising her family in the Pacific Northwest, Staci moved to San Diego in 2019 to enjoy the sun, beaches and all that the San Diego lifestyle offers.
Staci comes with a wealth of experience in customer service including construction, project managing, program director, clerical and HOA president for 5 years. This background will enhance her position as she works with tenants & owners to help them have a smooth and positive experience.
In her free time Staci enjoys exploring California, riding her bike cruiser, and dog beaches with her Frenchie along with checking out new restaurants. Staci loves to travel, especially since all her kids and grandkids live outside of CA.

Emiliano Quintara completed his formal education with a BA in Marketing. As a franchise restaurant General Manager, he developed transferable skills that are perfectly matched to property management: strong customer service and conflict resolution skills, organizational aptitude and working in a fast-paced industry. Emiliano has also served as a Senior Language Specialist and Translator (Spanish) which is extremely helpful in assisting our residents and vendors who prefer conversing in Spanish. Emiliano has contributed to streamlining our property management processes and provides excellent support to our residents as our Tenant Services Coordinator.
Emiliano enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, and playing with his eight-year-old son.
Marlene is a fraternal twin born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She fell in love with San Diego after visiting in 2010. Upon graduating from SDSU with a degree in marketing, Marlene started her career with an emphasis in sales and marketing while employed at Fortune 500 companies. She found the most rewarding part of her job was interacting with customers to understand their needs and then develop a plan to meet those needs. With over 9 years of experience in customer service Marlene’s priority at Walters Home Management is to help prospective residents find the home that meets their needs and preferences.
In her free time, Marlene enjoys exercising, painting, live music, and spending time with family.
Tim Heaps (CA DRE #02182789) is the Operations Manager for Walters Home Management. His role at the company is to oversee all aspects related to our property management portfolio including leasing, maintenance, client, and resident relations. Tim is joining us from a privately held real estate brokerage and has a background in boutique mixed-use portfolio management and investment acquisitions. Tim brings a unique and sustained level of enthusiasm and problem-solving skills to the team. Tim is a native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and splits his time equally between San Diego’s beaches and nearby mountains.
Brett Preston, Business Development Representative
Brett Preston (CA DRE #02106872) is the Business Development Representative for Walters Home Management. He is responsible for growing the portfolio with a focus on the acquisition of new properties and to ensure a successful onboarding experience for our new clients. Brett brings to the team a diverse background in the real estate industry with experience in residential sales, leasing and property management. Brett worked for many years in the restaurant industry as an Executive General Manager. He is a North County San Diego native, having attended Rancho Bernardo High School and subsequently earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Sciences from San Diego State University.
